RV park website and booking numbers worth knowing

Every number on this page carries its source and its date: the vendors' own public pages, a published platform fee model, and Magrify's own Search Console, crawl, and research data. When a figure is ours, the page says so.

The booking fee math

On Campspot's published model, the park pays $2 per online reservation and the guest pays a 3% booking fee on top of the rate (checked November 2026). Run that over a season: 200 online reservations on $180 stays cost the park $400 in per-reservation fees, and guests pay $1,080 in booking fees on top of their rates. A booking made on your own website carries normal card processing and no per-reservation platform fee, which is the math behind the direct booking push.

How long SEO takes

First movement in about 4 to 8 weeks, meaningful results in about 3 to 6 months. That is the timeline Magrify publishes on its own RV park SEO timeline page and reports against monthly, in each client's own Search Console data (published November 2026).

The questions people ask Google

In 90 days of Search Console data for magrify.com (August 6 to November 3, 2026), 28 distinct question-form searches about RV park websites, costs, and SEO drew 236 impressions and zero clicks. The questions were being asked; no page on the site answered them in question form. The Magrify answers section now exists to close exactly that gap, and the same pull gets re-run every few weeks to measure whether it worked.

AI search, measured on our own site

Between October 7 and November 5, 2026, AI crawlers made about 14,900 requests to magrify.com (Cloudflare crawl data). In the same 30 days, attributed AI referral visits were zero (Cloudflare Web Analytics), and Bing's AI Performance report showed zero citations for the site (checked November 6, 2026). The engines are reading the site; the citations have not started. That gap, between being crawled and being cited, is what AI search optimization work is actually for.
